Why Ember?
Girls and women deserve a community built specifically for them. A community that helps them stay active, build confidence, and develop strength that lasts a lifetime.
Unfortunately, many girls leave sports long before they reach their potential, and many women struggle to maintain lifelong physical activity. These trends can be changed with the right support.

Why It Matters
Participation in sports and exercise provides benefits that extend far beyond the field or court. Girls and women who stay active are more likely to:
Develop confidence, resilience, and leadership skills
Build teamwork, discipline, and determination
Experience improved mental health and lower rates of anxiety and depression
Create lifelong habits that support long-term health and wellness
Feel connected to a supportive community
How Ember Makes a Difference
Ember was created to address the barriers that keep girls and women from staying active. Our goal is about more than helping athletes perform better today. We want to help them build the confidence, resilience, and lifelong love of movement that keeps their flame burning for years to come
Provides a supportive environment.
Ember offers a girls-only space where athletes can train, grow, and build meaningful relationships in an environment designed specifically for them.
1
Builds confidence.
Training at Ember helps girls develop confidence that extends beyond the gym and translates directly to the field, court, or wherever they compete.
2
Develops resilience.
Through science-based training, athletes improve movement skills, build stronger bones and muscles, and increase mobility. These physical adaptations help athletes perform at their best and help protect them from risk of injury.

Hi, I’m Coach Hannah
I have always had a passion for sports, fitness, and coaching, and I want to share that passion with you!
I grew up as a competitive cheerleader and gymnast. I was always trying to prepare my mind and body for competition, and when I began coaching at age 14, I helped my athletes to do the same.
As a Division I student-athlete at the University of Delaware, I balanced the demands of academics, athletics, and coaching while developing the habits that continue to shape me today. I earned a degree in Exercise Science, a minor in Strength and Conditioning, and was proud to help my cheerleading team win a national championship. I continued to study to earn my CSCS through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and my master’s degree in Integrated Exercise Science.
Before founding Ember, I worked as a Sports Performance Coach for St. Luke’s University Health Network. I coached club and school athletes ages 7-18 in a wide variety of sports. I had the privilege of working alongside expert healthcare professionals to understand injury risks, prevention, and rehab.
During my coaching journey, I have seen how mentally and physically worn young female athletes can get. Without proper support and training, they suffer from overuse injuries, decline in performance, and lack of confidence. When I turned my focus to helping these athletes I was amazed to see the difference it made. Watching young girls reach their goals and believe in themselves is always the best part of my day as a coach.
I am here for you!
Any challenge you are facing and any goal you want to reach, I want to support you every step of the way!
Let’s get to work!
